Nutrien Ag Solutions, the world’s leading ag retailer, is a proud silver sponsor of FFA. In 2019, the company hosted an experience at the  National FFA Convention & Expo and provided tens of thousands of dollars to FFA chapters across the country through the Give Back to Your Roots Grants program.

With this grant program, Nutrien Ag Solutions invests in those creating the future of agriculture and has seen firsthand how FFA members take $5,000 grants and add their creativity, dedication, and heart to make lasting impacts:

• The Middle Tennessee State University Collegiate FFA Alumni Chapter showed how agricultural ingenuity can be applied to solve societal problems with their bicycle repair program for Tennessee’s homeless population.

• The South Lake FFA Chapter in Florida showed perseverance when their greenhouse was destroyed by a hurricane, and they used their grant to rebuild their facilities and revitalize their membership.

• The Smyrna FFA Chapter in Delaware showed the power of introducing ag education at a young age when they used their grant to implement agriculture programs in their middle school.

There are many more stories like these from the Give Back to Your Roots grant recipients. The chapters receiving grants use every dollar to make their communities stronger and their members more successful. Nutrien Ag Solutions admires the commitment to the growth and progress of agricultural education that exists through FFA. When more students are engaged in agriculture, they are more empowered to make waves in agriculture and advocate for agricultural literacy.

The importance of agriculture to the world increases every day. The next generation needs to be ready to feed the future, and Nutrien Ag Solutions offers full support to them along the way. Nutrien Ag Solutions is honored to again offer a grant program in 2020 and can’t wait to see what the winning chapters will accomplish. Learn more about the program and view the grant application at
