National Chapter Awards: Top 3 Finalists Announced in 5 Categories

Fifteen FFA chapters competing as finalists in the National Chapter Award Program just moved closer to learning if they will be awarded top honors at the 95th National FFA Convention and Expo this October.

National FFA announced the top 3 finalists, culled from a list of 45 chapters, in the categories of Models of Excellence, Middle School Models of Excellence and National Premier Chapter.

The 15 finalists are:

 

Top 3 Models of Excellence

  • Central Burlington FFA of Illinois
  • Streator FFA of Illinois
  • Versailles FFA of Ohio

 

Top 3 Middle School Models of Excellence

  • Bonaire Middle School FFA of Georgia
  • Carver Middle School FFA of Georgia
  • Franklin County Middle School FFA of Georgia

 

Top 3 National Premier Chapter – Growing Leaders

  • Cambridge FFA of Illinois
  • Steinbrenner FFA of Florida
  • Woodbury FFA of Connecticut

 

Top 3 National Premier Chapter – Building Communities

  • Blue Springs FFA of Missouri
  • Felicity-Franklin FFA of Ohio
  • Lumberton FFA of North Carolina

 

Top 3 National Premier Chapter – Strengthening Agriculture

  • Richland FFA of North Dakota
  • Ridgemont FFA of Ohio
  • Santa Fe FFA of Florida

 

The National Chapter Award Program is designed to recognize FFA chapters that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. These chapters improve chapter operations using the National Quality Chapter Standards and a Program of Activities that emphasize growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture. Chapters are rewarded for providing educational experiences for the entire membership.

Be sure to watch which five chapters will take home top honors Oct. 26-29 during the general sessions of the 95th National FFA Convention & Expo, streamed live on FFA.org and RFD-TV.
