Meet American Star Farmer Finalist Dylan Finken from the Max FFA Chapter in North Dakota.

For 75 years, Deere & Company has partnered with the National FFA Organization. To celebrate the partnership, Deere & Company donated an additional $75,000 to the Living to Serve platform and packed a green time capsule to unpack in another 75 years.

Nearly 1 in 5 children experience food insecurity according to Stephen Popper, CEO of Meals of Hope. He said working with FFA members utilizes the goals of both organizations by serving communities and individuals in need.

Auto manufacturing has a strong history in the state of Indiana, dating back to 1890. The industry is part of the state’s working culture and why the Indiana Historical Society parked their History on Wheels exhibit at the 91stNational FFA Convention.

Learning how to budget and save money can be difficult for some teenagers, but FFA members are starting small businesses.  “The feasibility of the market is very important to know, and understanding assets and liabilities is a basic starting point,” said Jadira Hoptry, the vice president of community development with Fifth Third Bank.  Jadira and her team at Fifth Third Bank are working with the FFA to help members with their personal budgets and small businesses.
