“This photo was taken during a National Geographic story I was doing about Highway 93 in Nevada. I was living on the ranch with Cheth Wallin, pictured, and other ranch hands. Cheth and I are riding in the back of an old pickup truck after gathering cattle in the late afternoon.
As you can see, the cattle dog in the truck cab has the best seat.”
