The veterinary science event aims to promote college and career readiness by developing students’ technical knowledge and practical skills in veterinary science. Participants will demonstrate professional ethics, decision- making, business competency, communication, and problem-solving skills. They will also show technical competency with small and large animals in anatomy and physiology, clinical procedures, identification, health and safety, medical terminology, and veterinary math applications. Presented in a holistic A team activity requires participants to analyze scenarios, present findings, and respond to questions from judges. By participating in this event, students prepare for careers in veterinary science, gaining valuable knowledge and skills in a hands-on, competitive environment.
