When the ribbon is cut and the expo hall opens at the National FFA Convention & Expo, more than just the doors to the ballrooms are unlocked. Thanks to partnerships with Microsoft and AgriNovus Indiana, the FFA Blue Room opens the door to future careers in agriculture and the solutions the industry can provide to the world. In 2018, more than 4,000 visitors learned about new career opportunities in agriculture, as the demand for innovation and technology increases.

“The future looks bright, and technology is paving the way for continuing to keep up with an ever-growing planet population,” one 2018 attendee said.

“I learned that even if you do not have a farming background, you can make a difference in agriculture.”

In fact, more than 95 percent of attendees indicated they saw how agriculture is solving problems in the world through the FFA Blue Room. Its overwhelming success in 2018 has led to additional sponsors, inspiring speakers, and even more opportunities to bring solutions to agriculture.

The 2019 FFA Blue Room will bring 15 new 90-minute sessions, interactions with ag tech start-ups and hands-on experiences at industry booths. Visit FFA.org/Blue365 to learn more about FFA Blue 365 and find more details about the 2019 Blue Room at the National FFA Convention & Expo.
