Did you know there are several officially licensed FFA fabric designs available for sale? Ana Blickenderfer created this beautiful quilt (shown above) with fabric from Riley Blake Designs.

“As a certified instructor for Quiltworx, the company that developed this pattern, I do not get to use many of my quilts because I keep them for trunk shows,” Blickenderfer says. “This quilt, however, will be used by me.” The process of working with FFA fabric was a connection back to Blickenderfer’s roots and reminded her why she does what she does.

“I was a member of the Charles City FFA Chapter in Iowa all four years of high school,” she says. “I served as reporter and participated in many competitions. Without FFA, I never would have started my quilting
business.”

The Fractured Star pattern shown here is available at Quiltworx.com.
