National FFA Organization Names VIP Recipients

INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021/National FFA Organization) – Eleven individuals will be honored with a VIP Citation during the National FFA Convention & Expo, held in Indianapolis, Oct. 27-30. The VIP Citation recognizes individuals’ significant contributions to FFA and agricultural education.

Those individuals are Scott Bormann of Stilwell, Kan.; Leon Busdieker of Hawk Point, Mo.; Dr. Robert Flores of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; Lyle Orwig of Chaska, Minn.; Terry Riekman of Salem, S.D.; Ronnie Simmons of Gainesville, Fla.; Dr. Michael Spiess of Montague, Calif.; Jack Staats of Alva, Okla.; and David Wyrick of Byron, Mich. Additionally, Robert Hays of Indianapolis, Ind., and Jeffrey Hicken of Waupan, Wis., are being awarded the VIP posthumously.

The VIP Citation honors the dedicated individuals who contribute to the FFA mission of student success through their hard work and cooperation.
