At National FFA, we’re committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all members— students, educators, and families alike. We believe in fostering premier leadership, personal growth, and career success, and that starts with a community built on respect and professionalism. These guidelines outline the expectations for behavior and conduct across all FFA activities and spaces. By upholding these principles, members help ensure FFA remains a place where everyone can thrive.
Please take a moment to review these policies. Adherence is essential—violations may result in disciplinary action, including restricted access to events.
Supportive and Inclusive Environment
FFA members are expected to respect the rights, property, cultures, and experiences of others, fostering an inclusive environment that values everyone and creates leadership opportunities for all. Good sportsmanship is encouraged, including being modest in victory, generous in defeat, and consistently respectful toward peers.
Commitment to Safety and Ethics
All members are responsible for protecting others from abuse and reporting any known instances. Harassment, bullying (including cyberbullying), hazing, intimidation, and verbal or physical abuse are strictly prohibited under the FFA Code of Conduct.
Prohibited Behaviors
Members must not possess or use drugs, alcohol, or tobacco during any event or while representing FFA. Any form of sexual harassment—including suggestive teasing, inappropriate remarks, or sharing offensive materials—is strictly prohibited.
Accountability
All participants are expected to comply with local, state, and federal laws during events. Violations of these rules may result in immediate dismissal, notification of advisors, state staff, and guardians, and possible revocation of access to future events.
