National Day of Service

National Day of Service2026-04-20T10:22:17-04:00

FFA has a heart for service, and we challenge chapters to put their leadership into action by serving their local communities in meaningful ways. Chapters can plan and carry out service projects year-round by identifying authentic needs, planning quality projects, and using their time, talents, and resources to make a lasting impact. During the National FFA Convention & Expo, members can also join a larger movement of service by giving back in the host city or in their own communities, truly living out the motto of “Living to Serve.”

Serve in your Community

Serve this FFA Week

What better way to celebrate FFA Week than by participating in a service project during National FFA Week for National Days of Service? Local FFA chapters are encouraged to report service event impacts and share your stories from the month of February.

Serve This October

In honor of the National FFA Convention & Expo, we invite chapters to engage in community service throughout October. Share the impact of your projects to inspire others and highlight the difference your chapter is making.

Serve All Year Long

The FFA motto showcases the essence of service and its role in personal growth and community development. By engaging in service year-round, FFA members contribute to improving their communities, fostering empathy, leadership skills, growing responsibility.

Serve at Convention

On-Site Service

FFA members have the chance to take part in a hands-on service project on the Expo floor, making tie scarves to donate to Circle City Relief. These scarves provide support to community members during outreach events.

Off-Site Service

As part of convention registration, attendees will have the opportunity to sign up and serve with local nonprofits, giving back to the host city of Indianapolis and supporting the surrounding community.
