The Business of Roasting Coffee Beans

The Aiken FFA Chapter in Cincinnati, Ohio, is active in many areas of agriculture at the Aiken High School-Based Community Garden. The forward-thinking chapter recently got into the business of roasting coffee beans. The students learn the food-science component of coffee production, then get a real-word retail experience through their in-school coffee shop, Awaken at Aiken.
