Muldrow High School in Oklahoma installed an aquaponics system in its greenhouse in 2018 with funds from a Carl Perkins Grant and assistance from Symbiotic Aquaponic. Muldrow FFA members care for the system and tend to its fish and plants, including pulling weeds and watching for pests, and in the process get hands-on experience in plant science. In some cases, they also develop skills and catch a passion that carries them into the future.
