From Chorus Member to Content Creator: Victor Salas’s FFA Journey

Victor Salas proves that everyone can find their place in FFA.

FFA is for everyone, and Victor Salas proves just that!

Salas does not come from an agricultural background. Enrolling in an ag class was a spur-of-the-moment decision. For the past three years, he has not only paved a way for himself but also for others.

In his freshman year of high school, Salas made the last-minute decision to join an agriculture class. Today, Salas is a prominent member of California FFA in Missouri. Recently, Salas was chosen to serve as vice president of the chapter for the 2026-27 school year. Throughout his time in FFA, Salas has had the opportunity to grow his agriculture experience through a mixture of career and leadership development events. Some of these competitions include FFA Creed speaking, conduct of chapter meetings, parliamentary procedure, grasslands and meats evaluation. At the 2026 Missouri FFA Convention, Salas’s parliamentary procedure team took fourth place. The chapter’s grasslands team also qualified and competed in the Mid-American Grasslands competition.

If you know Salas, chances are you know him from his social media page, @ag_ventures_with_victor. Salas shares relatable FFA and agriculture content, much of which is sure to give viewers a laugh. For content creation, Salas focuses on sharing content that is engaging to everyone. Salas likes producing content, but he does not create it just for enjoyment. “My ultimate goal is to advocate for agriculture and right some of the wrongs made by organizations trying to tear the industry down,” he said. Through the media, Salas has already communicated and educated thousands of people about the truth and traditions of agriculture.

Before joining FFA, Salas had a strong background and interest in music. Much to his excitement, Salas learned that he could combine both his interest in music and FFA at the state and national levels. Salas has performed in the Missouri FFA Chorus each year of high school. At the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo, Salas represented Missouri as a National FFA Chorus member. Not only have these opportunities brought new experiences and fun memories, but they have also created lifelong connections and friendships.
