Meeker FFA member Devyn Frazier (pictured above) and her younger sister, 4-H member Brooklyn Frazier, found success while competing at Cattlemen’s Congress, one of the largest and most competitive cattle shows in Oklahoma.
Brooklyn competed in both the junior and open shows, exhibiting a Purebred Shorthorn heifer. She earned Reserve Division Shorthorn Plus Female honors in both the junior and open divisions. In addition, Brooklyn placed third in her class with her Purebred Shorthorn heifer.
“I’ve been showing since I was young, so it had become special to me,” Brooklyn says. “I don’t plan to stop, even though I started so young.”

Devyn also had an outstanding showing at Cattlemen’s Congress, earning Division Champion Junior Purebred Charolais Female with her Charolais heifer. She placed second in class with her Percentage Simmental heifer and fourth in class with another Charolais heifer, competing against exhibitors from across the country.
Both Brooklyn and Devyn represented Meeker FFA Chapter in Oklahoma well through their hard work, dedication and commitment to their livestock projects.
“Cattlemen’s Congress is special because it gives me the opportunity to spend two weeks surrounded by people who share my love and passion for the cattle industry,” Devyn says. “I get to meet numerous exhibitors from all over the world, create lasting friendships and learn from all kinds of experiences. The energy of the whole show, along with the memories made both in and out of the ring, makes it such an amazing experience, and I will always love spending the week in Oklahoma City.”

Also representing Meeker at Cattlemen’s Congress was Olivia Jones (pictured above), who had an impressive showing in the Simmental heifer division. Jones earned first place in her class, standing out among a highly competitive group of exhibitors. Her success reflects the countless hours of preparation and dedication she put into her project, as well as her commitment to excellence in the show ring. Olivia’s accomplishment further highlights the strong presence and continued success of exhibitors at one of the premier cattle shows in the state.
