About the Author: Kaitlyn Ferguson
I am a senior at Liberty High School and a Student Advisor for the C. L. Payne FFA chapter. Through FFA, I have competed in various competitions—livestock judging, dairy judging, food science, horticulture demonstrations and agricultural communications. This past year at the Virginia FFA State Convention, I placed as the first high individual in the Agricultural Communications CDE with my team placing second. Outside of FFA I enjoy traveling and riding ATV’s with friends and my dad in West Virginia.
I am honored to have been selected as one of the 2025-2026 FFA in the USA reporters for the state of Virginia.
