Bailee Amstutz Star Farmer Finalist
Bailee Amstutz, a member of the North Union FFA chapter in Richwood, Ohio, shares her journey as a finalist for the American Star Farmer Award. She describes her sheep production SAE project, in which she uses reproductive technologies like artificial insemination and embryo transfer along with strict health and nutrition protocols to improve her flock and boost revenue. She also reflects on inheriting her grandmother's flock, the support of her parents and FFA advisors, and her plans to study animal sciences at Kansas State and pursue a master's in meat or food science.
