Lauren Roling Star Agriscience Finalist

Lauren Roling of the McCook Central FFA Chapter in Salem, South Dakota, presents her agriscience SAE as a finalist for the American Star in Agriscience. Her six research projects span nitrogen fixation in clover, grain bin safety and live engulfment rescue simulations, COVID-19's mental health impact on swine producers, field tile drainage effects on cropland, and noise-induced hearing loss in agricultural workers. She reflects on her family farm roots, mentors, and her path toward becoming an audiologist focused on improving rural access to hearing services.
