Kaleb Ellis Star Farmer Finalist

Kaleb Ellis, a Star Farmer finalist from the Cochrane Fountain City FFA chapter in Fountain City, Wisconsin, describes his diversified farming operation that includes 140 acres of rented cropland, a hog operation, broiler chicken production, and custom farm services. A fourth-generation farmer, he explains how his project grew from renting a neighboring farm and continuing his family's 40-year broiler tradition, crediting his parents and FFA advisors for their support. He also shares what he's learned about problem-solving and his plans to expand his crops, hog facilities, broiler barns, and custom services.
