Landscape and Horticulture SAE Internship

Lydia Grant, a recent graduate of Coe Brown Northwood Academy and member of the CBNA FFA chapter, describes her summer landscaping and horticulture internship at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. She details her daily responsibilities maintaining 100 acres of grounds, designing floral beds, following safety precautions, and using record keeping for time management. She also explains how her floral design class sparked a passion that led to this SAE, how her advisor and mentors supported her, and her goal of one day opening her own floral shop.
