Equine Showing | SAE

Maddy Brown, an 11th-grade Alvirne FFA member, describes her equine pathway SAE centered on riding and showing her barrel horse, Bay. She explains her daily care routine, tacking and safety practices, working with her trainer, and how she manages record keeping for expenses and time spent. She also shares the challenges she has faced, why she joined FFA, and advice for students still choosing an SAE.
