 What Is Impact?

When Morgan Wilde reflects on her time in FFA, she doesn’t talk about titles or awards; she talks about people. The things she said that didn’t seem like a big deal to her often made a huge impact in ways she never expected.

“I was a part of the North Summit FFA Chapter all four years of high school,” Wilde says. “I served as chapter reporter during my junior year, and as chapter president my senior year.”

Those roles helped her discover that leadership isn’t about recognition, but rather about connection.

“To me, the most meaningful part was seeing that I could make a difference just by connecting with people,” she says. “It was so cool to watch something I said resonate with someone else on such a deep level. It pushed me to grow and be a better individual for others.”

That mindset guided her as she stepped into state leadership.

The New Area Officer Program

As a former Utah FFA state officer, Wilde helped refine the Area Facilitator Program, a project born from countless meetings and collaboration.

“Our team ended up tweaking and repurposing the idea,” she says. “Because of that, the program was brought to life again, and I was so excited to help make an impact wherever I could.”

Her drive to serve and innovate reflects a lifelong pattern of goal setting and dreaming big.

“I’ve always been a goal setter and a dreamer,” she says. “I want to inspire others to see that their dreams can turn into reality if they work for it.”

Where Is She Now?

Now attending Utah State University, Wilde is studying animal science and working at Ellwood Equine, where she’s pursuing a career in reproductive technologies. She plans to graduate in December and continue full time at the clinic, combining her love for science, service and animal care.

From her first chapter meeting to her current studies, Wilde’s story is one of growth, connection and purpose. Her journey reminds us that leadership is not defined by position, but by the quiet moments that inspire others to believe in themselves.
