The Idaho FFA Foundation strives to grow the next generation of leaders. During the 2025 Idaho State Leadership Convention, a career fair was set up to give members opportunities to connect with business and college representatives from around the state. The event’s slogan was “Meet future employers, build your network and expand your horizons!”
FFA members had the opportunity to go from booth to booth and ask questions, learn about future careers and speak to industry professionals. This year, the Idaho FFA Foundation had 23 vendors sign up to help promote agriculture to the upcoming generation.

Representatives from the Farm Bureau encouraged FFA members to learn about the Young Farmers and Ranchers program and follow their Instagram account. They also talked about their past experiences and shared what they did after high school with the Farm Bureau.
A Parsons County representative shared his experiences as a agriculture-focused attorney and past FFA state officer. He began to get a lot of attention after explaining what he does and how necessary it is for the agriculture industry. There were also many large businesses, trade schools and colleges.
In addition to learning about agriculture, members entered to win cash prizes by completing the following steps:
- Head to the career fair.
- Pick up a career fair passport.
- Talk to career fair vendors.
- Get tour passport stamped at each booth.
- Turn in completed passport to the Idaho Foundation Booth.
After turning in their passports, 15 members were chosen to win $75 each.
