Video Production SAE

Michael McKay, a sophomore at Corvallis High School in Montana, discusses his Supervised Agricultural Experience in video production, which encompasses shooting, editing, and distributing videos. He highlights the rewarding aspects of meeting diverse people and working on unique projects, while acknowledging major challenges including the time-intensive nature of editing, expensive equipment costs, and the need to constantly develop new strategies for each distinct project. Through this SAE, McKay has gained skills for a career in broadcast journalism and developed an appreciation for talented individuals across Montana and the nation, crediting his SAE advisor and FFA chapter for their support and encouragement to pursue a non-traditional agricultural path.
