Valerie Earley – Masterpiece

This is Valerie Earley's 2017 retiring address as 2016-17 National FFA Central Region Vice President. Using the metaphor of a childhood fire truck coloring page and painted canvases, she shares the stories of friends Madison and Anthony alongside her own experience of covering up parts of herself to fit in. Earley encourages FFA members to embrace their imperfect, unchosen backgrounds, choose meaningful strokes to add to their lives, and live authentically as original, unfinished masterpieces.
