Rhett Wade, an 11th grader from Sandsman High School, shares his supervised agricultural experience (SAE) in ranch management, farm management, and fruit and forage production. His daily responsibilities include managing cattle health and ranch infrastructure, maintaining hay production, and overseeing fruit trees and irrigation systems, while applying classroom skills in livestock judging, AI certification, and welding. Through his SAE, Wade has expanded his family's fifth-generation operation, improved cattle quality through artificial insemination, and learned valuable life lessons about resilience and perseverance in agriculture.
