Mackenzie Klein, a ninth-grade FFA member from Virginia, shares her experience raising rabbits as her Supervised Agricultural Experience project, which involves showing, breeding, and daily care tasks like feeding, watering, grooming, and maintaining health records. She discusses the rewards of traveling to shows across the East Coast and competing nationally, as well as challenges like breeding difficulties and disqualifications in her fancy breed rabbits. Through her rabbit project, Mackenzie has developed business and leadership skills and aspires to become a rabbit judge and hold leadership positions in the American Rabbit Breeders Association after college.
