Piper Merritt – The Forever Learner

This is Piper Merritt's 2018 retiring address as 2017-18 National FFA Central Region Vice President, titled The Forever Learner. Through stories about a flat tire outside an Alabama FFA chapter, a humbling encounter with a lonely girl at a New York FFA camp, and meeting a 70-year radish farmer on a volcano in Japan, Merritt argues that every person has something to teach us. She encourages members to set aside their pride, embrace humility, and find joy in continuous learning throughout their lives.
