This is Mallory White's 2022 retiring address as 2021-22 National FFA Eastern Region Vice President. Drawing on conversations with farmers and ranchers across the country, White addresses how producers of physical agricultural products can feel forgotten, even within FFA, when language like "it isn't just farming" unintentionally excludes them. She encourages members to choose inclusive words, pursue careers across all facets of agriculture, and adopt a "producer mindset" that uses individual talents to support and honor America's farmers and ranchers.
