Lamb SAE

Kami Harmon, an 11th grader from McMinn County FFA in Tennessee, shares her supervised agriculture experience caring for and showing lambs in the animal systems pathway. Her daily routine includes feeding, exercising, and conditioning her lambs through running, walking, setting them up, and washing them to maintain their athletic appearance for shows. She documents her work through an SAE book and medical records, and advises other students to choose an SAE they genuinely enjoy, noting that her program has expanded from one lamb to five as her knowledge and commitment have grown.
