Kolesen McCoy – Humbly Known

This is Kolesen McCoy's 2020 retiring address as 2019-20 National FFA President, titled "Humbly Known." Reflecting on the people who shaped him, McCoy explores humility as a lifestyle rather than a definition—a willingness to be known for who we really are and to meet people where they are. He shares stories of a hotel engineer named Russell, a regional officer named Emily, and Fred Rogers to illustrate how humility means recognizing and acting upon one's strengths while also acknowledging what we need, especially during the challenges of 2020.
