Karstyn Cantrell – Count Joy

This is Karstyn Cantrell's 2023 retiring address as 2022-23 National FFA Central Region Vice President, titled "Count Joy." Drawing on childhood memories of working on her family's cattle ranch and the simple, joyful life of her grandfather Ted, she encourages FFA members to find joy in the simple things even amid trials. Through stories of fellow members and her own experiences on the road, she challenges the audience to count joy, share joy, and live "palms up" by remaining open to giving and receiving it.
