Joenelle Futrell – Let It Shine

This is Joenelle Futrell's 2013 retiring address as 2012-13 National FFA Eastern Region Vice President, titled "Let It Shine." Through stories of a shy classmate who hid her beautiful singing voice, her father's battle with pancreatic cancer, and the FFA friends who comforted her at his funeral, Futrell encourages members to be authentic and let their light shine for others. She closes by celebrating how the blue jacket welcomes students of every background, giving every member the opportunity to shine together.
