Jack Lingenfelter – What Do You Believe?

This is Jack Lingenfelter's 2025 retiring address as 2024-25 National FFA Southern Region Vice President. Built around the theme "What do you believe?", he uses stories from his year of travel—contrasting thank-you notes from students in Oregon and South Dakota, and a conversation with a young man named Frank in Vermont—to illustrate how beliefs shape the way we live. He challenges the audience to examine two questions: what they believe about themselves and what they believe about their purpose, encouraging them to root their worth in being loved rather than performance and to use what they have to love others.
