Anya Phillips and Austin Bergholzer, students from the Milford FFA chapter in Delaware, showcase their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) project making ice cream in their school's food science lab. The project involves following recipes, preparing ingredients, using proper food safety protocols, and selling the finished ice cream to teachers and students at their school. Through this hands-on experience, they've learned about food science processes and the farm-to-table journey of ingredients while developing practical skills in food preparation and inventory management.
