Tiffany Heisman, a 10th grader at Strasburg High School in Virginia, runs a goat breeding SAE where she raises kids, provides necessary care like clipping and vaccinations, and sells them to youth in her county for showing. She describes the most rewarding aspect as watching young exhibitors bond with and care for the goats throughout the show season. Through this project, Tiffany has developed responsibility, time management, and business skills, while overcoming the challenge of building her farm operation from scratch without a farming background.
