Adeline Hanning, a 12th grader from Harbor FFA in Arkansas, documents her supervised agricultural experience at the University of Arkansas Pilot Processing Plant, where she works in food products and processing. Her responsibilities include marinating meat, making frankfurters, deboning poultry, measuring pH and weight, battering and breading tenderloins, and maintaining food safety protocols through proper equipment and hygiene. Through this hands-on placement, she has developed crucial workplace skills in data collection, time management, and self-confidence in performing precise food processing tasks, all supported by her agricultural education and FFA involvement.
