Lane Drury, a Carville High School graduate, shares his two-year SAE experience as a farm research associate at Agri-Center International in Tennessee. His role involves maintaining research plots, operating large agricultural equipment, and learning practical skills like crop spraying and production agriculture techniques. Through his FFA involvement and classroom experience in landscape management, he developed leadership and public speaking skills that complemented his hands-on internship, which eventually led to his full-time position.
