Amanda and Elisa O'Cheng, 10th grade students from Clark Central FFA in Athens, Georgia, are creating an urban green space at their school to grow produce and gardens in a limited area. Inspired by a similar space at their middle school, the students applied for grants to fund materials and enlisted help from classmates and their advisor, Ms. Gordon, to establish the project. Through this SAE project, they hope to demonstrate agricultural opportunities for urban students and bring diverse perspectives to the agriculture field.
