2026 Convention | Trey Myers’ Retiring Address

Trey Myers, retiring National FFA President, delivers his farewell address at the 2026 convention, opening with an introduction from his brothers Luke and Jace. Drawing on a childhood bull-riding failure and a personal mental health crisis during college, Myers explores how the prideful mindset of "I got this" isolates people and prevents them from seeking help. He shares his faith journey and encourages FFA members to surrender their pride, lean on mentors and community, and find freedom in admitting weakness rather than facing life alone.
