2026 CDE Dairy Cattle Evaluation and Management: Individual

Daniel Swain of the Cambridge FFA Chapter in Wisconsin earns High Individual honors at the National Dairy Cattle Evaluation and Management Career Development Event. In this interview, he reflects on his experience winning two of three breeds, his favorite parts of the contest, and the challenge of delivering oral reasons to judges. He also shares his plans to continue with dairy judging as a student at UW-Madison studying dairy and food animal management.
