2025 Session 1B

This is Session 1B of the 2025 National FFA Convention & Expo. The session opened with a lost-remote skit and a dramatic reading centered on the convention's "Empower" theme, followed by the official opening ceremonies, presentation of colors by the Beech Grove High School Army JROTC, and the national FFA officer team hosting a talk-show-style program called Empower Now. Guests included Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett, National FFA Advisor Dr. Travis Park (featured in a Carpool Karaoke segment and delivering remarks on enthusiasm, cooperation, and belonging), and keynote speaker Arik Jackson, who shared a personal message about destroying your mental "box," being authentic, and giving 110 percent, interspersed with performances by the National FFA Band and Chorus and recognition of corporate partners and donors before the session adjourned.
