2023 Session 2

This is Session 2 of the 2023 National FFA Convention & Expo, a general session in the arena hosted by session chairs Jessica Herr and Gracie Murphy, who gave the proceedings a county fair theme. The session included the opening ceremonies, recognition of the National FFA Board of Directors and Board of Trustees, and the presentation of Agricultural Proficiency Award finalists and winners across categories including Agricultural Communications, Agricultural Sales, Agricultural Services, Agricultural Education, Agriscience Research – Integrated Systems, and Service Learning, along with Agriscience Fair winners, Middle School Model of Excellence awards, Creed Speaking and Livestock Evaluation CDE results, and the National Chapter one-, two-, and three-star awards. It also featured musical performances by Grady Hodnett and Adrian Soto, a Teacher Ambassador spotlight, audience games, and the retiring address of Central Region Vice President Karsten Cantrell on finding and sharing joy.
