2019 Session 2

This is Session 2 of the 2019 National FFA Convention & Expo, chaired by Eastern Region Vice President Adrienne Schunk with a summer camp theme. Cargill Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer Ruth Kimmelshue spoke about agriculture's role in feeding the world, sustainability, technology, and opportunity, after which the National FFA Board of Directors and Board of Trustees were recognized. Western Region Vice President Shay Booster delivered his retiring address on choosing to be a leader rather than a "why me" victim, and the session featured national talent performances along with the presentation of the Middle School Model of Excellence, Premier Chapter, Model of Excellence, and National Chapter Awards.
