2019 Session 1B

This is Session 1B of the 2019 National FFA Convention & Expo. After the opening ceremonies, Color Guard presentation, and National Anthem, session chair and Central Region National Vice President Ridge Hughbanks hosted the morning around an art theme, welcoming National Advisor Dr. C. Steve Brown via video, performances from the National FFA Band and Chorus, and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett. The session also celebrated 50 years of female membership by honoring trailblazing women including Elin Miller, Dr. Meese Baker, Belinda Chason, Brianna Holbert, and Dr. Joya Massa. National FFA President Luke O'Leary delivered his retiring address, The Characters We Play, on living authentically rather than wearing a mask, followed by keynote speaker Bob Goff before the session adjourned.
