2018 Session 2

This is Session 2 of the 2018 National FFA Convention & Expo. Following musical and entertainment segments, American Star Farmer finalists shared their SAE stories, the national officer team was introduced, and President Breanna Holbert opened the session, which was chaired by Western Region Vice President Bryce Cluff with a Western theme. John Deere chairman and CEO Sam Allen delivered the keynote address marking the 75th anniversary of the John Deere–FFA partnership and received the Honorary American FFA Degree and a restored 1945 tractor, Eastern Region Vice President Gracie Furnish gave her retiring address on the value of every life, and the session recognized the National FFA Board of Directors and Trustees along with National Chapter, Middle School Model of Excellence, Premier Chapter, and Model of Excellence award winners, interspersed with National FFA Talent performances.
