2016 Session 7

This is Session 7 of the 2016 National FFA Convention & Expo, RFD-TV's broadcast of the seventh general session held in Indianapolis on October 21, 2016. The pre-session coverage features interviews with exchange students in FFA, a 50th-anniversary reunion with former national officers Howard Williams, Norman Gay, and Jim Stitzlein, and profiles of the Stars Over America finalists. Chaired by Abby Gretsch and Sarah Draper around an "Activate" fitness theme, the session includes performances by the National FFA Band and Chorus, recognition of winners in the Creed Speaking, Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Job Interview, and Prepared Public Speaking career development events, the retiring address of national secretary Nick Baker, and a keynote on courage and saving money from comedic financial speaker Colin Ryan.
