National FFA AI Policy
As AI continues to evolve, it has the potential to be a tremendous tool to help organizations and individuals enhance their productivity and work. Therefore, the National FFA Organization allows the use of AI tools. However, it’s also important to put guidelines around the appropriate and responsible use of AI in FFA.

Cheyenne, Savannah, Paisley – Dairy Goat SAE In this lesson, students will explore how an FFA chapter turned a dairy goat SAE into a successful school-based enterprise by processing and selling by-products from their goats.
Carson McQueen – Gardening Club SAE Students will explore the benefits of therapeutic gardening by learning about one FFA member’s service learning SAE and how they could create their own version.

Sun Safety in Agriculture – Lesson 2: Staying Safe in the Field Students will practice selecting and promoting effective sun protection strategies to reduce Ultraviolet (UV) exposure in agricultural work settings. This lesson is part of a resource in partnership with Outrun the Sun.
Outreach Guide: Sun Safety in Agriculture Use this outreach guide to assist your agriculture class or FFA chapter in planning a hands-on outreach project to educate others about sun safety in agriculture. Sun Safety in Agriculture In partnership with Outrun the Sun, this sun safety in agriculture resource is designed to teach students about sun-safe practices in agriculture and the importance of being sun-smart. In addition to the two lesson plans, use the outreach guide to help share sun safety in agriculture with the community through projects and activities.
Agricultural Issues Forum Classroom Resources Bring agricultural issues to your classroom with this resource. Teach students how to recognize issues, how to properly research them and how to present their findings based on facts, not their opinions. These lessons will also introduce agriculture classes to the Agricultural Issues Forum LDE.
Animal Systems Substitute Teaching Guide This guide includes different one-, three-, and five-day options for curated and cohesive activities to leave for students when you need to be away from your classroom for a varying number of days. The theme of this guide is animal systems and all selected activities are related to learning more about small animals, large animals and careers within animal systems.
Animal Systems Substitute Choice Board A choice board you can leave for students when you have a substitute teacher in the classroom. All activities are related to animal systems.
2026 Fall/Winter New Horizons Teaching Guide In this guide, you will find activities for seven articles in the fall/winter 2026 issue of FFA New Horizons. Worksheet answer keys can be found at the end of the activity worksheet. The activities are aligned to educational standards.
2026 Fall/Winter New Horizons Teaching Guide – Appendix 1 – A New Worldview One of the ways these two FFA alums and friends stay connected to FFA is by traveling with the National FFA Alumni and Supporters. Students will learn more about their journey and then design their own agriculture-focused travel experience.
2026 Fall/Winter New Horizons Teaching Guide – Appendix 2 – A Budding Career in Taxidermy This FFA alumna’s SAE has developed into a taxidermy business that continues to grow and expand. Students will learn more about the business and then research hunting regulations in their state for a variety of animals.
2026 Fall/Winter New Horizons Teaching Guide – Appendix 3 – Feeding the Last Frontier The Alaska FFA Association celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026, but it hasn’t been a steady journey. It began, then busted, and now, it’s booming. Students will discover more about the history of Alaska FFA and agriculture, then they will dive deeper into food security and the needs in their own community.
2026 Fall/Winter New Horizons Teaching Guide – Appendix 4 – Three Trending Ag Topics This #SpeakAg Pioneer highlights current topics that have a direct impact on agriculture and discusses how she approaches these conversations. Students will learn more about these highlighted current topics and then investigate three trending ag topics they choose by creating an impact chart for each.
