This summer, thousands of FFA members from across the country will gather in Washington, D.C., for the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC), a premier leadership experience for students that exposes them to the rich history of our nation’s capital.

National FFA Organization announced 88 people from 38 different states will serve as National Teacher Ambassadors for the 2026-2027 School Year. National Teacher Ambassadors are agricultural educators who are trained to provide training and resources to other teachers across the country, as well as serving as subject-matter experts for agricultural education.

The 2025-26 National FFA Officer Team recently returned from the National FFA Officers International Experience Program in Japan, where they experienced Japanese culture and agriculture in partnership with sister organization Future Farmers of Japan (FFJ). This annual trip provides National FFA Officers the chance to experience firsthand how agriculture transcends geographical boundaries and strengthens a partnership that dates back to 1950.
