Giovanni’s supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program is working in his school’s greenhouse, specifically with different types of hydroponic systems. Follow along as he shares what he has learned and how this SAE will impact his future.

Follow Fiona as she introduces us to her supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program of mapping the Quinnipiac River and helping the Quinnipiac River and Trail Committee. She shares why she is interested in river mapping, the skills she has gained and what she has learned about GIS technology.

The National FFA Organization and U.S. Poultry and Egg Association lesson plan series provides educators with a comprehensive curriculum resource to teach students about the commercial poultry and egg industry. Additionally, lessons are infused with FFA and SAE activities to easily integrate into any agricultural education program.

In addition to the lessons we have also developed a companion guide that your students can use to teach elementary students in your community about the poultry and egg industry.

Many believe that learning stops once you graduate from your last step in the world of academia, whether that is a high school diploma or a doctorate. However, to truly succeed, we must strive to be lifelong learners. In this retiring address, 2017-18 National FFA Central Region Vice President Piper Merritt discusses the importance of becoming a forever learner.
