ADM’s Support Strengthens the Future of FFA

Since 1957, ADM and ADM Animal Nutrition combined have supported the National FFA Organization, totaling more than $6 million in donations.
The Silver corporate partner’s philanthropy goes deep; across its 44,000 employees in 200 countries worldwide, many are former FFA members, and all are invested in agriculture’s future.
Furthermore, ADM and FFA are aligned in their vision and values. “FFA, we believe, goes beyond education alone,” said Mackenzie Hirschauer, ADM Producer Origination Marketing. “It equips young people with leadership skills, hands-on experience, and a strong foundation in agriculture careers, which is a natural fit in ADM’s values and long-term vision.”
ADM’s generous support for FFA extends well beyond their national contributions, with employees sharing their skills and expertise and dedicating volunteer time at the local and state levels. It helps FFA members by providing classroom insight into the industry, fundraising to cover chapters’ convention expenses, judging FFA competitions, advocating for agricultural education and countless other ways.
This year, ADM launched an employee giving campaign for Give FFA Day during National FFA Week. ADM matched the employee contribution 2:1, which resulted in donating $25,000 and helped promote the day of giving through their own social networks. The company also established an ADM FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter several years ago, which remains active.
“This partnership goes beyond financial contributions, we want to be engaged — with the students, with the FFA chapters, and with the alumni — to strengthen the future of FFA,” Hirschauer said.
ADM’s more recent efforts to expand its engagement with and support for local FFA chapters stem from a solid link to the communities where its employees live.
Hirschauer said, “ADM has seen a very strong impact from the state-level support in previous years, so we wanted to deepen our connection with the communities surrounding many of our ADM facilities.”
ADM has been a champion of the National FFA Organization for 69 years, and its impact will continue to reach far and wide through its support for FFA members, chapters and state associations.
With its support, Hirschauer said, “ADM is helping to develop the next generation of ag leaders, farmers and future employees.”
